Stagger Lee

Big Rooney & The Doghouse is a Norwegian blues and rockabilly band known for their energetic performances and modern takes on classic blues narratives. The band consists of Rune "Big Rooney" Myhren (bandleader, vocalist, and harmonica player), Glenn "Hustler" Gran (guitarist and vocalist), Anders "ScareCrow" Damås (drummer and backing vocalist), and Ole Martin "Rusty" Røsten (bassist and backing vocalist).

In August 2009, during the "Under The Bridge" festival in Hamar, Norway, the band performed a live rendition of the traditional folk song "Stagger Lee."

Their interpretation of "Stagger Lee" stays true to the song's deep blues roots while infusing it with their distinctive rockabilly flair. The performance showcases Big Rooney's soulful vocals and harmonica skills, complemented by the band's tight instrumentation.
