The Curbside Rockerz is a Bahamian trio known for their lively blend of steel drum music, rake 'n scrape, and other island sounds. The band consists of lead singer Leo Jones, steel pan player Vince Thompson, and rake and scrape performer James Pratt. They formed in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, initially performing outside local supermarkets to make a living while tourism and their usual hotel gigs were on hold. Their performances gained popularity, making them a familiar and uplifting presence in Nassau.
As the pandemic eased, Curbside Rockerz returned to performing at hotels and events, showcasing their vibrant island-inspired tunes across venues in the Bahamas.
