Ray Campi (April 20, 1934 – March 11, 2021) was an American singer, musician, and songwriter, affectionately known as "The Rockabilly Rebel." He began his recording career in the mid-1950s and was renowned for his dynamic performances, often playing a white double bass, which became his trademark. Beyond his musical endeavors, Campi dedicated 25 years to teaching junior high school in Van Nuys, California, starting in 1967.

In 2006, Campi collaborated with The Supro-Kings to release the album Rockabilly Blues. This album features his rendition of "Stack-a-Lee." Campi's version infuses the classic tale with his distinctive rockabilly flair, showcasing his ability to reinterpret traditional songs through his energetic style.

Rockabilly Blues includes other notable tracks such as "Cryin' Blues," "Mystery Train," and "Kissing at Midnight," reflecting Campi's deep roots in the rockabilly genre. His contributions to music have left a lasting impact, earning him a place in the Rockabilly Hall of Fame.
