Stagger Lee

The Sir Douglas Quintet, an American rock band formed in San Antonio, Texas in 1964, was renowned for their unique blend of rock and roll, blues, and Tex-Mex influences. The band's sound, often referred to as "Tex-Mex rock," was a distinctive mix of musical styles that mirrored the cultural melting pot of their home state.

They recorded their rendition of the traditional folk song "Stagger Lee". This track has been featured on several of their albums, including Soul Jam and Kansas City & Other Favorites (Digitally Remastered).
